Thankful

Good morning and Happy Thanksgiving to all!

As we celebrate another Thanksgiving holiday, I decided to list some of the things that I am truly thankful for:

• My family
• My friends
• My amazing boyfriend (1 year and counting...^_^)
• My health
• My job
• A place to call to home
  

The list may sound very typical, however, it is truly a blessing to have the people and the things that I do have in my life. At the end of the day, I wouldn't be who I am (this FABULOUS lady), if it wasn't for the gifts that God has given me. Whenever I am down, I need to look at this list again and just say Thanks!

How did you find the energy, Mom

To do all the things you did,
To be teacher, nurse and counselor
To me, when I was a kid.

How did you do it all, Mom,
Be a chauffeur, cook and friend,
Yet find time to be a playmate,
I just can’t comprehend.

I see now it was love, Mom
Weeping, sharing
That made you come whenever I'd call,
Your inexhaustible love, Mom
And I thank you for it all.
